Decisions
I received back my film art test on Monday. I got an A grade for it which was surprising because I did not put in much effort for it. I should be happy but I S/Ued the module which means it will not be reflected in my CAP score. It was a little depressing as I realised I am actually quite talented in film analysis and the tutor likes my essays. It is easy, on hindsight, to say that I should not have S/Ued the module. However, at that time, there was too much uncertainty and a decision had to be made. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong one. Life is about decisions and many a times you are caught in a dilemma between 2 or even more choices. Without too much information, you will be forced to make a decision. Sometimes, things turn out well, sometimes they don't. Our decisons cannot be reversed and they define our lives. We can try our best to make the best decison but ultimately I think some factors are not controlled by us and so in some way, we are not in full control of our lives. I do believe that our lives are controlled by fate. There are so many different possibilities that can happen. We can be born in different countries, different homes, go to different schools, make different friends and so on... Although I'm generally quite happy with my life, I will still want a time machine to reverse some decisions that I made. It will be fun as well to see how I will turn out if I had made different choices.

Redemption
3 years ago, I did something that I should never have done. Today, I am very glad that I had the opportunity to redeem myself and apologise to the person. It's a big load off my back. It has not been easy living with the guilt of committing a mistake. I'm fortunate I had the chance to make amends for my mistake.

Our Fairytale
This is the story of how we won the Science Open 2007. It is truly amazing and up till now, I still find it hard to believe that it had happened. Somehow it seems that we were destined to win the championship.
Prologue: I had registered 2 teams into Science Open 2007, with the first team being KACC (Kolam Ayer Community Club) and the second team being NSL (Nil Sine Labore). KACC is the place where we play every week and which we call ourselves. Nil Sine Labore means Nothing without Labour in Latin and is the school motto for Victoria School, where most of us came from.
I reached NUS at 815, 45 mins ahead of the scheduled timing. It's been a long time since I've been so punctual. I was even earlier than the organisers. Everyone was on time except for Ziyong who overslept. The tournament started at 9 and our two teams played our matches in 2 different groups. There were 2 groups with 5 teams each and only the top 2 will make it to the semi-finals. I had initially only expected us to give a good showing but I got way more than that.
Group stage game 1: KACC lost 1-0.
It was demoralising to lose our first match. We were generally outplayed but still restricted them to few clear-cut chances. We could have gotten a draw but a defensive mistake caused us to concede a goal. I was quite upset by the way we lost as I felt we could have gotten a point. Tactically, we also decided to change from a 1-2-1 diamond formation to a 2-1-1 formation for the next match.
Group stage game 2: KACC drew 0-0
This was the match against the skilful Malay team. We had watched them play and they had great technique and skills. However, in this match, we were the dominant team as we created chance after chance. Unfortunately, we were unable to score due to a combination of great goalkeeping on the other team and bad finishing on our side. The match was also full of controversy. I was dribbling through their defence when one of their defenders did a sliding tackle on me. It was a clean challenge but I shouted for a foul anyway. From the resulting play, they scored a goal but it was discounted. It was my dirtiest play in the tournament and I'm a little ashamed. If the referee had been harsh on them on that count, he evened things out by ruling out a goal that I scored later on. He called for a handball by Kok Wai when he did not handle the ball. The goal was ruled out as I had scored from the resulting pass. This game gave us greater belief in ourselves as we dominated a more skilful team. At this point, we found ourselves in 4th place with only a point and we have to win the last 2 games.
Group stage game 3: KACC won 5-0
This was the easiest game of the group as the opposing team was the weakest. I opted for the most attacking line-up I could play. Shahid was played as a striker for the first time instead of goalkeeper. I knew we have to score as many as we can because goal difference counts so I asked for ruthlessness in front of goal. I opened the scoring with a low shot into the left hand corner. After that, the floodgates opened. With all respect to the opposition, they clearly had no answer to our attacking play. The passing was fluid and the movement was fantastic. It was total football and we could have scored 9 or 10 easily. Shahid scored 2, the first a lob over the keeper and the second a tight angle shot. Ziyong scored one and I scored the remaining goal. The second goal that I scored was the best goal of our tournament. It represented our years of playing together. Ziyong and Shahid had exchanged one-twos before Shahid released me with a back-flick and I just whacked the ball home. It was the only time we could play pretty football.
Group stage game 4: KACC won 1-0
This game was absolutely crucial. At this stage, we had 4 points, one less than the opposition who were on top of us in second place. The only way for us to get through was to win. A draw will see them through. The opposing team was the Kent Ridge Hall team. They were supposedly runner-ups in the Inter Hall Games. They were big and physical and had a big Afro-American player in their line-up. It was going to be a tough contest but we could not afford to be afraid of them. We contained them for most of the game and could have taken the lead in the second half if I had not missed an easy chance in front of goal. The minutes were ticking and we were facing elimination. Every team needs an inspiration and ours came from the unlikeliest of sources. With only about 2 minutes left, Kok Wai, who was playing as a keeper at that time, pumped the ball towards the opposition goal from our own half. He wanted to find someone with that long pass but it headed towards goal. For some reason, the opposing goalkeeper was caught out and the ball flew over him and into the net. All of us erupted. It was just unbelievable. We went berserk, as though we had won the World Cup. Kok Wai, who was usually so ineffective in front of goal during our weekly sessions, had scored our most important goal from an impossible position. If there was ever a match that turned us from nobodies to champions, this was the match. We were in the semi-finals and we started to believe. We started to believe that we can actually win the tournament.
Semi-finals: KACC won 2-0
This was a match we were desperate to win for a win meant that we will be guaranteed medals. We were up against the first placed team in the other group. They were big and physical and had a very quick striker. I assigned Minglun to man-mark him and he did a great job. They were mostly restricted to trying long range shots which never really troubled us. We were well organised in defence and they couldn't find a way through. On the other end, Shahid scored 2 great goals to give us a wonderful lead. All we had to do was hang on and we were through. We did just that with quite a bit of time-wasting and slowing the play down. It wasn't pretty but I didn't care. All I wanted was for us to get to the final. We accomplished our mission with a discplined professional approach.
Final: KACC won 1-0
I told the guys that this was going to be the most important 15 minutes of our life. All we have to do is just win and we will have accomplished something as a team for the very first time. This match had got to be the toughest match I had played. It started about 5 and a half hours from the time the tournament started and everyone was suffering from fatigue. The sun was merciless as well. My legs were already shaking a bit from exhaustion but I was never going to miss the final. Not after going through so many matches and hardship to get this far. The final was not pretty at all. It was a battle not of skills but of minds. It was a matter of who wanted it more. And we were hungry, and desperate for a taste of glory. We had lost too many times and even been humiliated before. We needed something to show for our efforts and something to restore our pride. The match was a tough battle but we took an early lead. And the goal we scored was amazing. Totally unbelievable. It was scored once again by Kok Wai from a similar distance. And this time, it took a deflection and arrowed into the back of the net. We went absolutely crazy. This is the goal that is going to bring us the medals and it was priceless. After the goal was scored, it was all about defence. I wanted everyone to be disciplined and not make any mistakes because any single mistake can cost us the title. Everyone gave their everything, every last bit that they had. They won every 50-50 ball, made last-ditch tackles and never gave the opposition any space. I suffered a cramp in my left calf in the first half while trying to block a shot and had to go to the sidelines. However, I was desperate to get back on to the pitch. In the second half, Kok Wai came down with a cramp as well while making a full-stretched tackle and I replaced him. However, while trying to head away a high ball, I over-exerted my right calf muscle and suffered a cramp. To make things worse, I lost concentration while in the air due to the cramp and twisted my ankle when I landed awkwardly. I watched anxiously from the sidelines after that as I knew I can no longer play any part in the final. I shouted constantly from the side together with the other members of KACC who were absolutely superb in their support. Our hearts skipped a beat as they hit the bar from a long range shot. If that had gone in, we would most probably had lost the final. We defended valiantly and the final few minutes were the longest in my life. When the countdown was over, it was pure ecstasy. The atmosphere was electric as we all hugged and congratulated each other. For the first time in our lives, we had achieved something together and in such adverse conditions. The feeling is undescribable. You have to experience to feel it.
I was the happiest man on earth as I took the medal from the Science Club President. Although the ceremony was shabby, it did not matter to me. I was very proud of the guys for giving me everything I asked of them and much much more. The victory meant a lot to me, even though it may not be a well-recognised tournament. On that day, it meant everything to me. I had never wanted something so badly in my life before.
Ending: To me, this has all the makings of a great Hollywood movie. Just that this time, we are the actors in it. I still cannot believe we actually won it. There are so many factors that could have caused us to be eliminated. If Kok Wai had not taken the long range shot, if there was no deflection, if the shot from the opposition had been a few inches lower and so on... I feel that we are like Porto winning the Champions' League. An outsider team winning a trophy for the first time. People may say that we are lucky but I call it the luck of champions. They may have bigger players, better techniques and so on. But we are the ones with the biggest hearts. Our fighting spirit won us the title. Fortune favours the brave and we certainly are the bravest! For KACC!!!
Team Stats Played Won Drew Lost GF GA Avg goals Avg conceded
KACC 6 4 1 1 9 1 1.5 0.167
NSL 4 0 4 0 0 0 0 0
Combined average goals conceded : 0.1 per game I think this tells the whole story.

CHAMPIONS!

Today has got to be the proudest day of my life. KACC are the champions of Science Open 2007! It's the first time that we have ever won any tournament and the way we went about winning it was truly touching. I will talk about our fairytale story later but right now I want to say some things that I did not manage to say just now.

Dear KACC Spartans,

First of all, I want to thank you all for giving me the honour of being the captain of KACC and the opportunity to lead such a committed group of players. Throughout the course of this tournament, from registration right up to the final, I have made many decisions. Some of these decisions were painful, but I assure you that every single decision that I took was in the best interests of the team. Every single player who went down are champions in my eyes. There is no such thing as a KACC 'B' Team. You all are a part of this fairytale story. Every single word of encouragement went a long way to secure us the championship. I want to thank every single member of KACC here.

Ho Teck: You were made the captain of NSL and you fully deserve the captaincy. I was truly impressed with how you gave everything for the cause and put your body on the line for the team. Your performances on the pitch says everything about your character.

Johnson: It was your first time playing with us and I saw you playing your heart out. You deserve a champions' medal as well.

Pierre: Although you only started playing with us about a year ago, you showed great team spirit in adversity. You gave another great defensive performance against more gifted opponents.

Fei Jie: You were asked to play as goalkeeper even though you did not have much experience. I felt that you were truly heroic in keeping four clean sheets, the best defensive record in your group.

Wai Hong: You gave a spirited performance. I could see you running back and supporting the team even though you were tired. You really played for the team.

Wai San: You gave a great team performance as well. You got the Spartan spirit and I saw it. Thank you for bringing a foreign inport as well.

Brad: Even though you probably will not see this and is leaving Singapore soon, I want to thank you for coming down. You gave a great centre-forward performance.

Shahid: You were asked by me to play as a goalie as well and you did not disappoint. You played as a striker when we needed goals and you did not fail to deliver as well. You are the golden boot winner with 5 goals and you provided many more as well. You were integral to our success.

Minglun: You gave a superb defensive performance. You did everything I asked you to with great discipline and endeavour. Marking fast strikers, Big physical strikers, supporting the attack, you did them all. Fowler would be so proud of you.

Kok Wai: You played even though you sustained a head injury last week. You were a Spartan through and through. And your goals were the most precious ones. They brought us to the semi-finals and won us the medal. You came up with the goods when we most needed it. We wouldn't have won without you.

Ziyong: You were late and had prata at 3 in the morning. You should be punished but you gave such a superb performance that everything is forgiven. You gave a great all-round display and even had to play as goalkeeper for the last few matches. I appreciate your sacrifice for the team.

Wesley: You were everywhere on the pitch, tracking back to defend and pushing forward when we were attacking. You played on even though you had an ankle injury. I couldn't thank you more for your commitment as well as your advice.

Sufiyan: You gave every last bit that you had. I saw your lethargy but I also saw your mental strength. Your technique and calmness earned us valuable time as well. It was vital to our success.

I also want to apologise if I had been too demanding and offended any of you.

Lastly, I hope everyone of us will remember this victory for the rest of our lives. I hope this memory will be stored in a special place in our hearts. Let us remember forever the way we fought beside each other, overcome overwhelming odds through sheer perserverance and encourage each other when the chips are down. I hope we all will have more belief in ourselves from this day onwards and always remember that teamwork and desire are the qualities that will bring us victories, not individual skill. 24 March 2007, a day that will always have a special place in my heart.

Random stuff
I will share some things I saw in the news since there's nothing much to write about.
I think I saw a sports article about Wales losing to Italy because of a referee error some weeks ago. Wales lost but they accepted the referee's apology graciously. It struck me deeply because you will almost never see that happening in soccer. People will make a big fuss out of it. I think soccer players are like Persians while rugby players are like Spartans. Soccer players behave like small kids while rugby players behave like real men. It's a disgrace seeing soccer players diving on the pitch and fighting over small things on the pitch. And even worse, they can't even fight properly. I have a lot of respect for rugby but I still love soccer more. I just hope that soccer can learn some of the finer codes of conducts from rugby.
There's another news article about a person who goes around molesting cab drivers by offering them drug-stained drinks. I found it very funny that anyone will go around molesting cabbies. It's a very weird fetish to have. Who would want to molest middle-aged uncles with moustaches and beer bellies?
The last piece of news that I want to share is a recent report that finds most of the fruits from China contain some harmful stuff. I think you will know what I'm going to say so I will end here.

Death
I just attended the funeral of Daniel's father. Daniel was my platoon mate and so many 8th platoon people attended the funeral. I have never liked attending funerals. Other than the reason that I don't want people around me to die, the other reason is that I do not know how to behave in a funeral. I know I am supposed to feel sad but I cannot really manage to get myself into a sad mood, especially in the presence of friends. This always makes me feel guilty whenever I attend a funeral. I can see that Daniel feels saddened by the loss of his father. I would be if it were me as well. I've got a great dad that I don't think I spend enough time with. I would have liked to share Daniel's burden and sadness but I do not know how to console him and I can't understand how he feels. It was good that Daniel tried to be as normal as he could and the atmosphere was quite light-hearted with everyone talking cock again. Doraemon was also saying that one of his friends died while playing soccer. He suffered a head injury and died as a result. People always say life is unpredictable but you will only feel the gravity of the statement when something tragic happens to someone who is closely connected to you. I am going to die some day and I do not know how and when I am going to die. I will prefer to die in my sleep so that I will always be in dreamland. I am wondering, how will people remember me when I die? Have I made a positive or negative impact in people's hearts? I hope these questions will not be answered soon. I am not afraid of death, I am just afraid of missing out on all the great things that life has yet to offer me.

Cosafe
I was on my way to meet Ken the Uranian when I came across a cafe at Chijmes. The cafe is called Cosafe because it is a combination of the words costume and cafe. It's main selling point are waitresses dressed up as french maids. It's the first time I have seen such a cafe in Singapore and I am even more surprised to find it at Chijmes. It doesn't seem appropriate for a fetish-oriented cafe to be set up in Chijmes. I think Singapore is really beginning to open up judging by all these weird places that are being set up. Anyway, Ken was asking me why I am blogging so often now. It's because it's my lull period now and there's quite a lot of happening things worth sharing nowadays. I will try to blog as often as I can before the time comes for me to concentrate on my schoolwork.

Sand, sea and the sun
I went for a field trip to Changi Beach on Friday as a Biodiversity practical. Jiesheng had already told me that it would be fun and it turned out to be just as he said. However, unlike him, the weather for my practical was quite fine. Except for a brief shower, the weather was quite sunny most of the time. Zhenyun, one of my lab group mates was so afraid of getting blackened by the sun's rays that she was squatting most of the time. It was quite stupid but i think it works because she didn't seem to get any darker. Only a few of us went down to the sea to harvest our prey. I was supposed to go down but for some reason I did not manage to go. We caught quite a variety of marine organisms and some of them are so weird that they don't seem to belong to this planet. There are many creatures that I have not seen in my entire life and they are just residing off the shore in Changi. I think I have not explored Singapore enough. I do not have any pictures of those animals that we captured but among the most unique ones are comb jellies that look like Konniyaku, Moon crabs that can burrow very quickly, a fish that has both its eyes on the same side, parasite infested crabs that are living zombies and a sea hare which looks like a giant slug with many green dots on its body. It was an enriching experience and it increases my interest in taking Biology. It will be so much fun going on all these field trips every now and then.

Stuntman
I can't help but post this. I destroyed the NUSSU van! It has been sent for repairs and it's all because of me. Ho Teck and I were supposed to run errands for BHBH3, our overseas cip project. We had to bring donated stuff down to a warehouse in Kaki Bukit for packing. He was supposed to do the driving because only he has the NUSSU license. I was ineligible because I had less than a year of driving experience. However, we decided that I will do the driving because I have more experience driving manual cars. The NUSSU van is the only van available for use in NUS but despite its importance, it was badly maintained. There was no air-conditioning and one of the headlights was cracked. It was a torture driving the van and to make things worse, the side window malfunctioned halway and could not be retracted. We were sweating throughout the journey. It was a long journey from NUS to Kaki Bukit and we had a hard time finding the warehouse. It also rained on our way there. The journey was mostly accident-free except for one close shave where I did not notice a parked car and nearly hit it. The journey back was also relatively smooth. I successfully parked the van at Raffles Hall after a long and tiring day. I was totally exhausted mentally. I switched off the engine and waited at Raffles Hall while Ho Teck went to return the key. While waiting, I noticed smoke coming out from the front of the van. The smoke was rising into the air and it was very conspicuous at night. I was worried sick and was hoping the smoke would stop soon but it did not. It went on for around 20 minutes. We called the person in charge but he said it was nothing to worry about. However, the next day, he called and said the van's engine is damaged by rain seeping in through the cracked headlight. It was by no means by direct fault but I think they won't let me drive the van again. Sorry, i mean they won't let Ho Teck drive the van again.

8th jokers
I received an sms from the lame machine, Hanna, that one of my platoon mates, Kang had made the news and appeared on Digital Life. I knew that Kang was an avid gamer and he had won the first prize in a PSP game. I thought Kang had won another competition again and flipped the pages of Digital Life trying to find his photo. I saw Kang in a stupid looking pose and found out that he had made the news because he was the first to lay his hands on a PS3. He waited for about 6 hours for the PS3 console. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw Kang's stupid pose and when i think of why he got onto the news. I went for a NS mob briefing this morning at Selarang Camp and met a few of my platoon mates, including Kang. The lamer Hanna brought the copy of Digital Life there and everyone was laughing like crazy. It was fun meeting up with ex platoon mates. The rat, Singh was there also and I discovered he had joined Sengkang Punggol as a player in the prime league and was earning 500 dollars a month. Everyone was also making fun of him and Sengkang Punggol. It was great fun meeting up again. 8th rocks.

Divorced
My printer had been with me for a few years already. It's a HP inkjet printer. Even though it prints really slow, up to 5 mins for one page, I still stuck with it because I have some feelings for it. It is also quite a high-maintenance object because the ink cartridges get used up pretty fast and they cost over 50 dollars each. Because I am cheapskate, I decided to buy third party ink last semester at the Science bazaar. The person selling the refills to me made refilling out to be so easy, just put in the needles, squeeze the aerosol can and the refilling will be done. Because they cost a lot less than the original ink cartridges from HP, I bought both the colour and black ink catridges. I found out with my own hands how much trouble refilling can be. Without fail, every time I refill there will be some ink overflowing and my hands will be stained with a myriad of colours. Despite the mess, I still continued using the refills because of the cost factor. I also discovered that the black ink is of low quality. The ink is so faint that it looks like grey. I also tolerated it and stuck to printing grey and white notes on my slow printer. However, something happened just now that made me change my mind. My printer had been irritating me for days already with the printer ink low light constantly flickering. I had refilled both cartridges but it still kept on flickering. In a last attempt to slavage the situation, I decided to try once more. This time though, when I put the aerosol can to the cartridge and tried to refill, ink exploded out from the can. My hands were hit and even my face, together with my specs was not spared. My whole table and a part of my wall too were hit. I had a hard time cleaning up. This was the final straw and I decided to change to a new printer. No more 0.2 pages per minutes rates and messy refills. I threw away my ink refills and with it, my love affair with my printer.

Bad boys
I heard from a friend that a former classmate has dyed his hair, pierced his ear and is going to get a tattoo because he thinks it will make him more attractive. He says that he knows of a person who's a real bastard but is always surrounded by girls and he thinks there's no point being nice. When I heard this, I was thinking what is the world coming to when you have to be an asshole to be attractive. People always say nan ren bu huai nu ren bu ai which translated means girls only like bad boys. I have to admit that bad boys have their charm but I still don't understand why girls will want to go for someone that they know will hurt them in the end. They say nice guys finish last but I still think it's better losing playing fair rather than winning hurting people along the way

Scared
I just came back from playing at the Cage, an indoor soccer court at Kallang. The timing was very weird, from 1 am to 3 am. And since taking a cab to and fro would cost quite a lot, I asked my dad to let me drive his car there. It was my first time driving to that place and from the map, it looked pretty easy. Just a few turns and I'll reach there. However, real roads look different, especially at night. I was making my final turn into Kallang from Mountbatten Road and because of poor lighting, I made a wrong turn. I turned into a one way road that I thought was two-way. I was absolutely petrified when I realised my mistake. Luckily, it was late at night and there was only one car on the road. I tried to calm my nerves and made a U-turn while the driver of the other car was watching me. The stress was tremendous. I got into the right road the second time and while in there, I made an illegal U-turn while searching for the place. There was a car behind me and I thought it was a civilian car. It turned out to be the traffic police and it followed me for a distance. Fortunately, it went off after a while. I was in bad mental condition to play the matches but even so, my team dominated the games, with a 5 or 6 game winning streak with no goals conceded. I was playing as a centre back and it really felt good keeping clean sheets, making interceptions, making last ditch tackles...The look on the strikers' faces when they got frustrated was my satisfaction. The games ended promptly at 3 and it was quite expensive at 10 dollars each. My journey back was thankfully uneventful.

Passing time
I am now inside the space club room with nothing much to do. I will have to pass my JAL scholarship form later to its Singapore office and so in the meantime, I will just do some blogging. There isn't much to blog actually. There hasn't really been much drastic change in my life. The main difference this semester would be that I'm much busier with 6 modules to juggle and an overseas CIP project to commit to. There was also training for inter-faculty soccer but the tournament is over already. The science faculty team crashed out at the group stages after losing 1-0 to both SDE and Bizad. We won Computing 2-0 but it wasn't enough. The analysis was that we created enough to win but lost due to conceding stupid goals. I don't really agree with the analysis. True, we had our chances but overall, with our play, we don't deserve to go through. I felt that the overall play was disorganised. I couldn't see the overall shape of the team. There was too much individual play and possession was lost far too often. I have played enough to know that teamwork is really very important in soccer. A team with just average players who can pass the ball around is far harder to play against than a team that relies on a brilliant individual. I didn't play much in the IFG games, in fact I only managed 5 mins. It was a little disappointing but the decision doesn't lie with me. On to other things...Big Hands Bigger Hearts, my oCIP proj, is time-consuming with a meeting every week and various commitments to fulfil. Meetings are rarely efficient with too much time dragging butI guess that's the way meetings are like. My film art project is halfway to completion with the filming done. The filming took us many hours over a few days and it was not easy at all. Now I understand why movies take so long to film. Nonetheless, it was a lot fun filming with a great actress, great actor, director, little angel and of course a great cameraman, yours truly. The midterm tests are almost over and with the exception of Einstein, I did pretty well. I feel that I'm becoming someone that I don't want to be when it comes to these exams. I kept thinking of how other people must fare worst than me so that I can get better grades. I know I shouldn't think like this but it's the way the system works in University. Of course, I hope that everyone around me will score well too so that the atmosphere around will be a happy one. Hopefully, this semester will be a good one.

Time, Relationships and the City
I watched a few films during my film art module that touched on these topics. The most memorable one would be Chungking Express. There's a line in the movie that goes : "Everyday you meet many people on the streets. Some may become your friends or even your confidants but most will just be strangers." There is this concept that keeps recurring and it is called urban loneliness which is an oxymoron because we are living in such close proximity to each other but yet we feel lonely. And this loneliness is exarcebated by the very fact that there's always people around you. People are always in such close proximity to one another but as the lecturer says, being close physically doesn't mean being close emotionally. As such, I have figured out some probabilities for meeting the girl of your dreams.
Probability of finding a female: 1 in 2
finding a female in the right age group: 1 in 10
a female that is attractive: 1 in 10
an attractive female that is not attached: 1 in 5
a female who can connect to you : 1 in 100
a female who likes you for who you are: 1 in 100
Multiplying these probabilties will give the probability of finding a dream girl at around one in a million. Sometimes I wonder why everyone will most probably end up getting married. Is the one they are with really the one they love and whom truly loves them?
