Bad boys

I heard from a friend that a former classmate has dyed his hair, pierced his ear and is going to get a tattoo because he thinks it will make him more attractive. He says that he knows of a person who's a real bastard but is always surrounded by girls and he thinks there's no point being nice. When I heard this, I was thinking what is the world coming to when you have to be an asshole to be attractive. People always say nan ren bu huai nu ren bu ai which translated means girls only like bad boys. I have to admit that bad boys have their charm but I still don't understand why girls will want to go for someone that they know will hurt them in the end. They say nice guys finish last but I still think it's better losing playing fair rather than winning hurting people along the way
