Person of the Year

My person of the year is my mother. Today is Mother's day and it made me think of all the things that my mum has done for my family. It would be fair to say that she is the most important person in my house. She does the washing, cleaning and cooking even though she's working. Sometimes I wonder how she does it, waking up early to make breakfast, cooking dinner after a long day at work and remembering all the minute things. Her eternal optimism, even in times of crisis, is admirable. There will never be another person quite like her and she is my person of the year.
