Singtel has acquired the rights for next season's UEFA Champions League as well as UEFA Cup matches. This means that we will have to subscribe to both Starhub Cable TV as well as Singtel's Mio TV to watch our usual fix of Premier League plus Champions League football. It's a massive financial burden and I decided that I am not going to subscribe to Singtel just for Champions League matches. This is a disaster for football fans. I thought competition was supposed to be good. But now I end up paying more money but watching less matches. Sadly, it seems like I will not be hearing the familiar tune of de la selle for a long time...
