Day in review

I don't usually write things that i do, event by event. But i do not know what to write and i am bored. Well, I was supposed to meet ho teck for breakfast at 10 at nus and help out in rag after that. I couldn't wake up as early as I planned and woke up half an hour later. Still can't get over the World Cup hangover. I met ho teck at 11 and was surprised to see junjie there. Can't believe he's more bo liao than us. We talked cock for about an hour and had our breakfast at the same time. After that, we went to the rag area to help out. But we didn't see anyone we knew there and there were very few people so we decided to go back to the canteen. I felt a little awkward at the rag area because I didn't know the people there. I'm not friendly enough, i guess. So we waited at the canteen and Qinyao and Shahid joined us. Talked more cock again and ate again. Feels like the 4C days again. Fun but also depressing. Can I only feel at ease among my old friends? I should try to make more new friends. Anyway, at 2, we were supposed to sit for our advanced placement test at LT32. It wasn't easy to find and we had to thank a helpful senior who guided us there. We didn't hold much hope for the test as we hadn't studied for 2 and a half years. The test proved to be too difficult even though it was MCQ and Ho teck and me went out of the lecture hall after 45 mins. We were the first to leave. Jiesheng was still trying his best to conjure answers from the air. The both of us decided to go back to the rag area to help out. This time though, there were people we knew and we helped to paste magazine sheets on a fence. However, we were not working on the same fence as the people we knew. We happened to be working on the same fence with someone who was from VJ and was from Harmonica as well. She recognised me and I also found her familiar. It's really a small community here in Singapore. If you looked at Friendster, I think everyone will be connected in some way to one another. We helped out for a while and went back to the LT for the second test. This time round, the test was about genetics, something that I've learnt and am pretty interested in. Therefore, this time round, I only left after 1 hr 20 mins. The three of us then went to the costumes dept where Jiesheng is supposed to get his costume. However, the person in charge wasn't around and we ended up talking to Huiting and Azlina. They are both dancers and so is Jiesheng. They have to train everyday in the morning. I salute them for their commitment. After a while, we went back home, not before doing some saikang. After I got back home, I had my dinner at my grandma's house. I played with my cousins who were having fun with a periscope. It's been ages since I've played with a periscope and it's fascinating. I realised I've lost some of my enthusiasm in learning. I used to be very curious as a kid, asking constantly about how things work. Now, I cannot be bothered as to how things work so long as they work. I think I should rediscover the kid in me.
