Depressing
Watching the news these days is depressing. The world financial market is in trouble. Banks are falling like dominoes and stock markets are dropping lower and lower each day. Singapore is not spared from the turmoil and there's a danger that we'll be going into a recession. This trying period happens to coincide with my batch's graduation into the workforce. There is a sense of uncertainty over our future, the number of jobs will be fewer and wages will be depressed. It is sheer bad luck that we had to face uncertain times when we graduate. However, I believe that what goes down must come up and in time, the economy will recover. So with that hope, we should stop worrying about the future and focus on what we are doing now. Studying.
