At a recent question and answer session with Minister Mentor Lee, seven out of the eight people who asked the MM questions were foreigners. MM Lee even had to prompt for Singaporeans to ask questions. He must have been disappointed at our lack of participation but I think the library of Singaporeans facing him are a result of the policies that he and his team have pursued in the past decades. Thinking about the question and answer session and also through attending lectures on government and politics of Singapore, I have realised that I am a product of the PAP factory.
